WHAT IS CERAKOTE?
Cerakote is a thin-film ceramic coating engineered to deliver industry-leading corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and temperature stability.
Unlike traditional finishes such as bluing, anodizing, or paint, Cerakote bonds at a molecular level to the substrate. The result is a highly durable protective layer that adds minimal thickness while dramatically increasing surface durability.
Cerakote is widely used in firearms, aerospace, automotive, industrial, and outdoor industries where long-term performance under harsh conditions matters.
-
Components are fully stripped to ensure proper coating coverage and protection of critical surfaces.
-
Parts are soaked in a degrease/ acid tank and then abrasive blasted to create an optimal mechanical bond for the coating. Components are then baked to ensure extraction of all contaminants. If part shows contamination, the process starts again; until part is correctly prepped.
-
Critical tolerances, threads, bearing surfaces, and functional interfaces are carefully masked to prevent interference.
-
Cerakote is applied in a controlled environment using proper spray equipment to achieve even film thickness and clean finish lines.
-
Components are oven-cured per manufacturer specifications to ensure full coating hardness and durability.
-
Parts are reassembled (if selected), function-checked, and inspected prior to shipment.
