Precision Milling & Porting
Performance-driven machining for reduced recoil, optimized cycling, and refined platform control.
Milling and porting services are engineered to improve recoil impulse management, slide mass balance, and overall platform control. Each modification is approached with structural integrity, alignment, and reliability in mind.
We focus exclusively on firearm-specific milling applications and do not provide barrel threading or general lathe turning services.
Performance-Oriented Modifications
Available Modifications
-
Optimized venting geometry for recoil reduction and controlled gas dispersion.
-
Precision port cuts to reduce muzzle rise and improve recoil characteristics.
-
Weight reduction and visual enhancement while maintaining structural integrity.
-
Custom frame cuts and machine work tailored to project goals.
-
Precision slide milling for direct-mount red dot optics. Each cut is machined to optic-specific dimensions to ensure proper seating, consistent alignment, and reliable retention under recoil. Depth and placement are carefully controlled to maintain structural integrity and dependable slide function.
We offer platform-specific cuts for common footprints including RMR, DPP, Holosun, Vortex, Osight, and similar patterns. Custom footprint inquiries are welcome.
Our Machining Process
1. Design & Layout
Precise measurement and layout are completed prior to any material removal.
2. Controlled CNC Machining
Material removal performed with tolerance awareness and structural consideration.
3. Laser Footprint Identification (Optional)
Upon request, we can discreetly laser mark the optic footprint and screw thread specification beneath the optic cut for future reference. This service is available as a $10 upgrade.
4. Deburring & Refinement
Edges are cleaned and refined for safe, professional finish.
5. Recommended Finishing
Cerakote or refinishing is highly recommended following any milling or porting work performed on slides due to raw metal surface remaining. Barrels are left bare and do not require any retreatment when the firearm is properly maintained.
Service Parameters
• We do not offer barrel threading or lathe turning services.
• All projects are evaluated for mechanical compatibility and safety.
• Firearms must comply with applicable shipping and transfer regulations. • We do not certify, endorse, or warrant any work for use in carry, duty, or self-defense applications. Any such use is undertaken solely at the client’s own risk and discretion.
